Rooftops is written about a cute flat I had in Liverpool that I never wanted to leave. I recorded this track at a friends studio near Peterborough with some of my close friends on all the different instruments. It was snowing when the majority of this track was being recorded. I released it a little while later after I'd conveniently spent time wandering into a lake in the Scottish wilderness.

The beautiful video was filmed by The Pace Brothers, who Kindly let me stay with them and introduced me to their dog - Tarka who will always have a special place in my heart <3.

"...if this doesn’t register a lump in the throat and a tear in the eye I’ll begin to wonder about you... a devastatingly beautiful track that gently stirs and creeps up on you just when you’re off guard..."

-Mark Barton, The Sunday Experience

"It feels like part of the soundtrack to a film not yet made, one about new lives, new adventures but one cocooned in nostalgia and wistful reflections."

-Dave Franklin, 'Dancingaboutarchitecture'
